 We own and operate the

only crematorium in the Annapolis Valley.

If it is the wish of the family or was the wish of the deceased that cremation take place, we will look after all necessary arrangements to accommodate that wish and provide the desired service.

Because cremation is merely an alternative, this does not mean that the other aspects of the funeral service may not be utilized. For instance, you can still have a public or private visitation, a funeral service with the casket present and cremation occurring following the service, or a funeral service after the visitation period, with the urn present.



Cremation services will vary, depending on the type of services selected. Traditional Burial and Cremation services can be tailored to your wishes.

 

Cremation $1195.00 Plus Taxes

($1374.25 Taxes Included)

  • Removal and transportation from place of death to the crematorium
  • Arrangements made with the family at the funeral home or in your own home
  • Required documentation:          
  • Registration of Death
  • Burial Permit (as required for cremation)
  • Medical Examiner Authorization (as required in Nova Scotia)
  • Consent/Permission for Cremation
  • Funeral Director’s Statement of Death (14)
  • Cremation Certificate
  • Cremation Container
  • Cremation fee and returning cremated remains to the family

DIRECT CREMATION IS AS FOLLOWS:

  • REMOVAL FROM PLACE OF DEATH,  HOME OR HOSPITAL WITHIN 250KM OF WOLFVILLE.
  • PERMITS, DOCUMENTATION AND NECESSARY PAPERWORK.
  • ASSISTANCE WITH CPP DEATH CLAIM PAPERS, CREMATION CERTIFICATE, BURIAL PERMIT AND 14 FUNERAL DIRECTORS STATEMENTS OF DEATH.
  • CREMATION CONTAINER.
  • CREMATION (RETORT) FEE INCLUDED
  • DELIVERY OF URN AND DOCUMENTATION TO FAMILY WITHIN 250KM OF WOLFVILLE.
